In general, aluminium is much easier to shape than steel as it is much softer. About 2 to 3 times less capacity is needed when shaping aluminium compared to steel with a comparable strength. The good machinability however also entails special problems, such as the difficulty in breaking fragments due to the great toughness and the strong ‘sticking’ of aluminium particles on the cutting tools. But also the clamping and fixing of aluminium profiles demands more attention due to the limited hardness. Special clamping tools are therefore often needed for the machining of aluminium profiles.

The machining of aluminium requires, in general, tools that are specifically suitable for working on aluminium. In general, tools that are also used for other metals, are not suitable for the machining of aluminium. For machining tools, the alloy to be shaped is often the criterium  for the cutting tools to be used. One can consult tables for the correct tools. These tables indicate e.g. cutting speeds, cutting edge, relief angle etc. per alloy. Furthermore, the usage of the correct coolant and lubricant is an important factor.

4)  You need to approve this profile drawing by sending it back to us (signed with name & date)

5)  Based upon this approved drawing, we'll produce the die

6)  When the die is ready (2-4 weeks), we'll perform a die trial

7)  You'll receive a profile sample which also needs to be approved (it's a dimensional check only)

8)  If the profile sample is approved by you, we'll harden the die ...and we're ready for serial production!

Max had a mission Make Aluminium Xtreme. MAX may supply you the aluminium profile with mostly kinds of surface treatments such as extrusion mill finish，andozing, powder coating, electrophoresis and PVDF，all aluminium profiles strictly follow GB-5237 standard to produce. 

MAX provide different possibilities for machining an aluminium profiles. A few examples are cutting, milling, bending, punching, drilling, tapping, welding, turning, blasting and polishing. MAX mostly uses CNC-controlled profile machining centres for the milling, drilling, cutting and sawing of aluminium profiles. Besides our (automatic) sawing machines, our 3 and 4-axis CNC profile machines, we have 4 5-axis cnc machines of the German brand Handtmann, which can machine aluminium profiles up to a length of 8500mm on 6 sides in one go. In order to increase our value as an aluminium supplier, we can also assemble (in-house) the semi-finished products. 

There are mostly aluminium profiles that have been machined by us, that are aseembled with such as plastic parts or other glass components. Q2. If I need sample, could you support?

A2. We can provide you free samples for check our quality, but the delivery fee should be paid by our customer, and it is appreciated could send us your International Express Account For Freight Collect.

Q3. what’s your MOQ ? And what is your delivery time?

A3. 1 metric ton for each model. About 30 days after payment.

Q4. How do you charge mould fees?

A4. In case need to open new moulds for your order, but the mould fee will be refunded to customers when your order quantity reaches to a certian amount.

Q5. How do you quote price ,per ton or per meter?

A5. We provide more than two pricing models.

Q6. What is the differences between theoretical weight and actual weight?

A6. Actual weight is the actual weight including standard packaging Theoretical weight is identified according to the drawing,calculated by of the weight of each meter multiplied by the length of profile.

Q7. What’s your payment term?

A7. T/T: 30% of total value as deposit, 70% as balance should be payed before shipment.L/C or other payment term can be negociated.
